The Lovers’ Almanac – Pale Love, Pale Rider

Dear Muse,

Lost forever this single thought
Changes in mid-spectrum
These infinite wishes, 
Senseless ardour
Would you therefore,
Have to hear everything
That heart-rendin’ farewell
Cannot move you
At this dark Tomb
Cries are superfluous
Bitterly, heard over ashes;
“Return no more”
But no
Not your purpose
All that is loved, 
Love is your pulse
Eternity of illusion
Chimera, lie of love
This ephemeral ghost
Needs of tomorrow
This flash of life, this spark
Burnin’ in surprised hearts
You suddenly forget the mire
And destinies bound
